Unable to run UpdatePSData

Hi, followed the instruction to migrate but am having error running UpdatePSData. The error seems to be the fact that the date specified in MinDate is not within the year 1960 to 2050. Here is my script as from the website:

# MinDate: Minimum date for Portfolio Slicer.

2014-12-31



My System's date is already set to YYYY-MM-DD

Kindly assist.

When scripts run, first parameter they read is MinDate. If script cannot read MinDate, then it rows error about method not found and then terminates complaining about MinDate being out of range.
To fix this you simply need to update your PowerShell version (scripting engine) to later version.
So you will need to install Windows Management Framework 3.0 (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=34595) or higher.

I'm having the exact same issue, except I'm running Windows 10. The update listed is only for earlier versions of windows.

Any recommendations?

Please double check psConfig.txt file. Value for MinDate should be like this:

2006-12-27

There should be no space between your date year and date format must be YYYY-MM-DD.

For some reason when I copied and pasted the migrating data to psConfig a space was added before the start of every line, so rather than being '2008-12-27' it was ' 2006-12-27'. Took me awhile to spot it. Once the space removed everything worked.
