Dividends and buying more shares

Moved over to Ver 2.4 over the holidays. I have been using the script to generate dividends previously.
How to I buy more shares with dividend money that is automatically generated?
Or do I have to stop the auto generation and just add manually so I have cash to buy shares?

I would recommend to add dividends manually and then buy shares.

I removed the dividend quotes and also removed the flags from the ps Config but I am still seeing dividends showing up on the holdings page. Do I have to manually remove the generated dividends as well?

Yes, you would have to remove all files from dividends folder and then add dividend transactions to trans table.
