What is the simplest setup if only using PowerBI for reports?
Can I simply delete all the tabs in the Excel file except 'src*' tabs and only use PowerBI for reports?
Right now it seems to be working and I can't see any reason why it wouldn't work... but I thought I'd ask. 🤪

Yes you can delete Excel file table, except src* and all reports will be available just in PowerBI.
But you can also leave these tabs in place, but never refresh Excel workbook and use PowerBI for reports. Either way - it will work without any problems.
