What versions of Excel 2016 have PowerPivot?

edited August 2016 in General
So I was trying to troubleshoot some unexpected return numbers in Portfolio Slicer and realized I can't dig far because I don't have PowerPivot in my Office 365 Home version of Excel.
I'm posting the information I just dug around for so other don't have to go digging.

Excel 2016 Version that DO include PowerPivot.
- Office 365 ProPlus
- Office 365 E3
- Office 365 E5
You need a Business subscription to acquire one of these versions.

Office 365 Home does NOT include PowerPivot and it can not be upgraded to a business version.
Here's how to "upgrade". It's basically "buy business and cancel home".

Another option that could help your troubleshooting for free is to use Portfolio Slicer for Power BI with Power BI Desktop application! You do not have not pay anything for Power BI Desktop and majority of formulas are exactly the same. Difference is just in Annlzd RoR calculation as new version of DAX language has native XIRR fucntion.
