Refresh in Excel 2016

Hi,

So I managed to run the scripts and create the various source files (way beyond my pay grade!). I prepared the workbook (2016 version) and the issue arises when I refresh the data. I get the attached message. It says Excel couldn't refresh the table 'CurrencyConv' from connection 'CurrencyConv'. The reason seems to be that it's looking for the file in the PSData folder under the C: drive. Mine is in the drive. Is there a way to change the connection path?

Hi Bruno,

There is documentation that explains how to change external data file connections: http://www.portfolioslicer.com/docs/excel2013-change-data-location.html
But you can do that just if you have FULL PowerPivot support. If you do not have FULL PowerPivot support, you can use PortfolioSlicer just with default external data connection in the folder c:\PortfolioSlicer\PSData

Thanks Vidas. I didn't realise I'd effectively moved location as D is my default drive for data. I've now moved everything to the C drive and it works fine. Now onto inputing all that data!
