Multiple excel workbook

I would like to create another excel work book to keep track of another investment. Technically can it be done?

  • 1. You have no limit of Excel workbooks used by PS - you can have as many as you want.
    2. BUT, by default your Excel workbook expects external data in the folder c:\PortfolioSlicer\PSData. If your workbooks MinDate and used Symbols and Currency overrlap, then there is no problem. But if you want to have different sets of symbols/currency, then you need to make sure that YOUR Excel version has full support for Power Pivot and you are able to change external data location. If you have Power Pivot menu, then click on Manage button in it and than make sure you can edit "Existing connections". More info (assuming Excel 2013/2016):
