Excel 2016 workook "Not responding" during refresh

I wanted to warn Portfolio Slicer users that after latest Excel 2016 update they might experience "Excel not responding" message during data refresh. If you wait 20-30 second this message will go away and data refresh will continue. You will experience this message twice during each refresh as Portfolio Slicer data refresh is done in 2 passes. Because of this message, Portfolio Slicer data refresh will work, but it is going to be much slower.

    Fix for this issue will be available in June update.
  • Is that when you will release the final version of 2.4?
  • I will release 2.4 sooner - as soon as I feel it is tested enough.
    My plan - there will be no more Excel 2010/2013 updates, release after 2.4 will be just for Excel 2016.
