dividends in regular and light reports

Entering dividend data for Version 3. As an example, i have two stocks in one account that pay dividends. Entered dividend data in source file for the month of january 2024. Both stocks paid dividends that month and entered both as DivTA transactions. Ran both the regular report and the light report. The light report sees and reports both dividends properly. The regular report sees only one of the dividend transactions and reports it properly but ignores the other.

If you go to the holdings tab on the regular report, it sees both stocks in that account.
If you go to the monthly-symbol tab in the regular report, it does not list the stock that has the missing dividend, in the the symbols listing group on the left side of the page. First clue that something is wrong....

If you go tot eh light report and pull up the holdings for the account, both stocks are listed. If you go to the dividends tab and look at the january dividend total, it has captured both dividends.

Any ideas as to why the regular report does not see the dividend transaction while the light report does?

Power BI report sees both dividend transactions and reports them properly

1. Check dates for transactions - first make sure they are assigned to correct month/year. That is your transaction is for 2024-01 and make sure you did not enter as 2025-01
2. Check c:\PortfolioSlicer\PSData\Transactions.csv file - confirm you see your dividends transactions in that file.
3. In your regular Excel workbook confirm that Data->Connections->Transactions is picked up from that c:\PortfolioSlicer\PSData\Transactions.csv file.
4. In Mthly-Symbol report left side Symbol slicer, you should see ALL symbols ever used. If you do not see that symbol, please confirm.

Hello

Regarding (1) Yes, confirmed that the transaction dates are both in January 2024
Regarding (2) Yes, can confirm that both transactions are listed in that file and show the proper dates and amounts and transaction codes.
Regarding (3) Sorry, not that good at excel as to know how to determine that.
Regarding (4) Can confirm that both symbols for the stocks in this example do appear in the symbol slicer for monthly-Symbol tab....Clicking on them does reveal fresh data in each case and the data for one stock is missing, while the other is present.

If you can provide a bit more instruction for #3, I can try to confirm that

This is not an issue I have seen before. Can you prepare and send me Reports (full) Excel workbook - it should be enough for me to run my tests.
For your privacy, can you please remove as much data as you can, but before sending me your Excel workbook please confirm that you can see that error in the version you will send me.
To prepare data - you save a copy of your Source workbook and store it somewhere else.Then from source workbook remove all transactions for other unaffected accounts and you can also remove some other transactions from impacted accounts, but that are on different symbols.

I think I will start again with a fresh copy of version 3, input all the data again and see if i get the same error....will start with the stock that is giving me issues and see if there is something about that one ........thanks
