Transaction types

I am trying to learn how to best utilize PortfolioSlicer and have just set up mine and starting to populate with all my transactions. My question is what is the best transaction type to use in the case of the dividends from a securities being paid in shares? Should I reflect this as a Buy transaction? Or is there a variant of the Div that I should be using?

For re-invested dividends I usually enter 2 transactions:
1. DivTA - to record total amount of dividends I received.
2. BuyTA - to record number of shares I bought from dividends received. I also use field TransSubType to populate for this transaction as DRIP - this way I can easily find transactions from reinvested distributions.

You might also use Div/Buy transaction pair and in such case your Price would be per share and not total.
